HISTORY

In 1961, Minton Meek and Frank Crockett teamed up to start a printing company. Meeks Lithography Company was located in downtown Tulsa, Oklahoma. Meeks provided general lithograph printing to the public. Core offerings included business cards, letterhead and brochures.

With a focus on quality and service, the business grew. To accommodate the increase in business and growth, Meeks moved to a larger location on North Lewis Avenue in 1962. The catalysts for growth were client referral, exemplary customer service, consistent quality, dependable production, prompt turnaround and reliability. These strengthened customer relationships with every completed project.

Following great success over the next 24 years, Minton Meek decided to leave on a high note and retire in 1986. Jerry Crockett, Frank Crockett’s son, bought out Minton’s share of the company and becomes co-owner with his father, transitioning and diversifying Meeks from wholesale printing to internal production.

In 1995, a new location at 6749 East 12th Street was purchased. This location made room for a new five-color press. Five years later, the corporate headquarters moved to its current location at 6913 East 13th Street. This 52,000 square foot facility allowed Meeks Lithography to offer new services to the market, including warehouse storage, fulfillment and promotional products. The 12th Street facility now houses the 10,000 square foot large format Sign Division.

The 2000s ushered in the acquisition of seven Tulsa printing and graphics companies. Meeks now has a greater diversity by offering direct mailing, large format graphics, vehicle wraps and wall wraps, trade show fixtures and graphics, and promotional items. In 2007, to better represent the new products and services, the company name was changed to Meeks Group. Meeks Group has become the go-to provider for all things printed.

Today's Meeks Group is truly an integrated marketing products and services company.
